About the Blog

Stories are one of our most powerful opportunities to reflect and share as humans. We are all moving through various seasons of life and the only thing constant is change. As individuals, organizations and society, I personally believe we can capture the opportunities that change affords to create more good. The stories of life, change and leadership shared on this blog are intended to provide perspective and inspiration to brave the change and push on to what is next.

Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death. – Anais Nin

About the Author

My personal mission is to capture opportunities for change to bring about social good; meaning how do we create the most good for the most people in the largest way possible. I am a community builder, critical thinker and problem solver. I thrive in organizations where new ideas are generated and people are encouraged to take educated risks.

As a higher education professional and perpetual learner, the constant state of inquiry and evolution of knowledge in the educational setting suits me well. Originally from Texas, I have lived in several areas of the United States, visited almost every state and love to travel internationally. These experiences keep me on a constant journey of becoming.

You can find me on LinkedIn. My Academia.edu profile is available here.
